30 pin car adapter

I have an old 30 pin apple car adapter.I am wanting to use it with iPhone 7.I tried a 30pin to lightning adapter but does not support audio.What is the work around for this?As I am wanting to use the supplies cable in my car which is iPod/iPhone out if I’m not mistaken.My goal is to be at least able to play music with this lead or some sort of adapter.Would be great to be able to display track information and artwork also.I have used aux to Bluetooth adapter but the sound quality isn’t all that great.My vehicle does not have a USB port ether so I don’t have that option.Could anyone please help me I am totally lost.
