Scary! New iPad Pro suddenly asked 6 digits passcode

why would my Ipad started today ask me 6 digits passcode to enable face ID? I hate this face id.It never works anyway. I kept entering the best passcode I think and it locked me up.

I connected to my Macair and follwed the restore indstructions. I do not want the face ID but what if this happens when I travel?

The new iPad does not have Home button maybe they should learn from Android to use Finger Touch on the sides and Draw Patterns so we have more chocices.

They have a glitch on their system and they need an update. It is scary to me because I do not carry a laptop when I travel.

Did nyone have this problem with the new iPad Pro?
