Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
myChevrolet app works fine as long as my iPhone is nearby, otherwise I get an image of a phone with a red line through it. My watch is connected to my mobile phone service so that I can make and receive calls. Any suggestions?
After initially saying that the myChevrolet app did not support Apple Watch, the tech said that I needed to subscribe to the Remote Access package. Before spending $150 a year, I would like to be certain that this would, indeed, allow me to use my watch to unlock my vehicle, without my iPhone being nearby. Does anyone have experience with the Remote Access package with an Apple Watch?
Check with Chevrolet to ask about this, their app may not be set up to work with cellular on the Watch.
