Hard Drive Usage
I just set up my new MacBook Air and I cannot drag items into the HD nor create folders in the HD. The computer is otherwise working great. What is wrong?

The root level of a Mac's startup disk may no longer be altered.
In general anything can be stored in your Home directory including its subdirectories.
