How do I find my macbook Pro 3,1 model year?

I have MacBook Pro 3,1 model and macos 10.6.8 .

But I don't know what is the model year of my MacBook Pro 3,1 and 'about this mac' section I can't find any model year.

So anyone tell me which year of macbook Pro I have?

software update keeps the current Major version you are running up-to-date.

To change Major versions, you need to UPGRADE, essentially a "purchase", but on sale for $0.

as long as you meet the minimum requirements, such as the minimal 2GB RAM, you can upgrade using this link, but:

Be sure you have a trusted backup before you begin.

if you have less than 6GB of real RAM, this will run unnecessarily slowly.
