Can't find airdropped .m4v video file on ipad

I'm trying to move videos from my macbook to my ipad to edit because my ipad is more powerful, but when I airdrop, I can't find the video on my ipad. I've checked photos, videos, documents, downloads, all with no luck.

Side note: My files app only has icloud drive, on my ipad, and a downloads folder. All of which I've checked.

Where does it go??
