Google Authenticator App

Hello,

My iPhone XS was recently damaged somehow and gets stuck in a bootloop when I try to turn it on. I bought a new iPhone 11 PRO a few days ago and did a full iCloud restore to the new phone.

Unfortunately, my Google Authenticator App did not transfer to the new phone. Is there a way to access the information/back up codes from my phone stuck in the bootloop? I'm in a position where I can't access certain cryptocurrency accounts due to this and not sure what to do.

Thanks,

Chris

The google authenticator app is tied to the physical device that it is installed on. If you install it on a different device you must set it up again. See this Google help article—>https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1066447?co=GENIE.Platform%3DiOS&hl=en

I said no such thing. please reread.

I said my phone was damaged and is now stuck in a boot loop. I bought a new phone and loaded an iCloud restore on the new phone so it contained data that was on my previous phone.

Google Authenticator is an app that does not transmit data off of the device it is on - hence the reason the keys contained on the app did not transfer to the new phone with the restore. The information is still on the damaged phone, but I'm wondering if there is any possibility of extracting the data on that phone?
