The Move app shows fewer calories burned then shown on Workout

How can I get the calorie count in Move app to agree with Workout calories burned?

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities! It seems you're not receiving Move credit for calories that you've burned.


The Move ring gives you credit for active calories you have burned. It seems you may be viewing the total calories burned for the workout, which includes resting calories. You can read information about earning Move credit in the following article:


Use the Activity app on your Apple Watch - Apple Support


"Move

The Move ring shows how many active calories you've burned so far. Complete your daily Move goal by burning active calories every day. Active calories, unlike resting, are ones that you burn by standing or moving around. Get help earning Move and Exercise credit."
