How do you connect your Apple TV with Ethernet connection?

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 13

You plug it in, and let the router and Apple TV configure the network settings themselves. Easy as pie.

Try another ethernet cable, there is no configuration to do. Once plugged into an Ethernet connection the Apple TV defaults to the Ethernet connection. You may have a faulty cable or router.
