HI I just recently bought my family the extra iCloud storage plan (200gb) I sent out the invite, they have both accepted the invite, but it now it says neither family member is using the storage. I assume its something easy but I can't figure it out

Are you certain they accepted the invite to the Family Sharing for iCloud storage? The invite will have instructions for them -- Share an iCloud storage plan with your family - Apple Support.
