Someone is trying to hack my Apple account

So last week I received 2 text messages from Apple saying “Your Apple ID Verification Code is XXXXX”, commonly what you would see if you were resetting your password. I was not. I thought it was weird so I brushed it off. Now I’ve received 4 text messages, all at 3:00 AM while I was sleeping saying the same thing. Is someone trying to attack my account? Who could it be? What can I do to protect myself? These texts come with no link to dispute.
