I am getting unwanted advertising pages when I move from one website to another

I have OS Catalina, version 10.15.5 with both Malware Bytes and Total AV installed. Recently I am getting unwanted advertising pages when I move from one website to another. What should I do? Thank you!

One thing you should do is uninstall Total AV. Macs do not need antivirus apps and they are known to cause various problems. FWIW, you also don't need to run Malwarebytes in real time. It can be useful to remove malware if you install any.
