Apple watch series 2 will not update

I have a series 2 watch that will not update. I have tried several times and have even deleted the app and re-tried. My phone is an iPhone 7 with 13.5.1.

Apple Watch Update Hi! I recently got an apple watch from my friend that he was using. Very exciting and all untill I tried to pair it with my iPhone. When I pair it it says it's in need of an update and when I press "Update" It says "Could Not Install Update" It does not give me a reason and I pressed "Try Again" a hundred times. The other option it gives it to start over. I tried that a couple of times too. I just can't get it to work. I reinstalled the watch app. Tried powering on and off. Resetted Network Settings. Can someone please help?

Apple Watch won’t pair because the update won’t download I reset my Apple Watch and trying to pair it to my new iPhone. It’s asking me to download and install the software update. The update will not download. It says “5 days remaining” or it will pause. My iPhone is connected to wifi and the watch is plugged in next to my iPhone.

Watch unpaired and will not update. I have an iPhone 13 and Apple Watch 4.I could not get my watch to update so I unpaired it. I still cannot get the watch to get past the update.
