Apple ID does not work on iPad, but works on iPhone

My Message function does not work on my iPad. Works on my iPhone, but when I try to sign in on my iPad, I keep getting a message that my Apple ID is incorrect. I’ve tried changing it but it still does not work and freezes up my screen on my iPad and I have to reboot.


Any suggestions to remedy this is appreciated.
