Call of Duty Mobile Issue (Deleted it, keeps trying to reinstall itself)

Hello, everyone!

A friend downloaded CoD: Mobile onto my iPhone (he wanted

me to try it but I need new glasses to be able to play it,

plus I’m not really a CoD fan so I got rid of it). I deleted it both because, as I said, I’m not really a fan and I needed the space. Now, every time I log into iTunes I get a message that says “Can’t install Call of Duty...etc, etc, not enough space” after I put in my password - Sometimes multiple times in the same session. It’s getting really annoying.

I’ve deleted the app repeatedly over the past couple weeks but it keeps trying to reinstall itself. Anyone else having this issue and how can I resolve this?

iPod, iOS 12

Hi, schtolteheim.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We’re glad you decided to reach out about deleting Call of Duty: Mobile from your iPhone. If we understand correctly, you’re seeing the message about installing CoD when you connect your iPhone to iTunes.

We suggest checking to make sure the app is deleted and not offloaded with remaining data by going to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. Do you see the app here? If you do, try deleting it from here.

If your friend installed any type of special profiles with CoD, check to see if you need to delete a configuration profile, too.

Make sure you restart your iPhone after you delete the app to also delete any temporary cache files that may have been generated.

All our best.
