Mailbox not syncing

Mailbox on iPhone shows 532 items. When I open the app and look at iCloud mail there are 6 old items in mailbox. How do I fix this problem?

booker193,

Thanks for the additional information. The mail on your devices do not sync with each other, they sync with the mail server. The issue you're experiencing can happen if you have a POP email server. The way POP email servers work is the first device to contact the server will download the available email, and if another device contacts the server later it will see that there is no mail available. This can cause one device to have more, or different email messages than another device. This can be resolved if you use an IMAP mail server. You're best bet is to contact your email provided and see which type of email account you currently have and if they have an IMAP email account option.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards.
