I lost my iPhone 7 plus on saturday , I think now it is switched off but this article says i should login to the stolen phone icloud ,how???

Log into iCloud.com using the same Apple ID you used on your phone. Then click on 'Find My' to try to locate your device. Be aware that it may only be showing the last known location prior to being turned off and not the actual current location..
