My Seres 3 GPS M#MTF32LL/A Says it can’t update due to not enough space. I’ve deleted all apps that are available to be removed and still not enough space. I can’t remove email, and quite a few other apps. Capacity is 4.6G and 1.6G available. These numbers don’t add up. Anyone have a resolution?

I tried this fix multiple times and it didn’t do any good. It seems to fix it at first but ends up still not working. My watch shows no space available and very few of my apps work. I just finished at the Apple store. They are sending it in for repair as they cannot fix it.
I’m currently in the process of re-pairing my series 3 watch. When starting the process I chose to use my backup file versus starting as new. I hope this is okay and still free up some space for the latest update.
When I open the Watch app on my phone I can't get past the message that I need to download an update, which I can't do because it says there is no space. My only option is to "Exit & Reset Watch" or "Continue with Update." If I exit and reset is that the same as unpairing??
It has also worked for my update but there still seems to be just a small amount of free space on my watch. When I look at usage, the numbers don't add up. The items shown on the watch take up less than 1gb but there's also less than 1gb free.
Hi, I have a similar issue with my daughter's Apple Watch Series 3. Update required to continue, 1,7 GB available, but needs 2,1 GB to continue. Apple support currently tries to solve the issue, so hope I could share my experience soon.
Long process time wise but looks like it freed up about 1.5Gb of space. Assuming the update will go now..

This worked for me - I needed 1.7 gb free and couldn't get more than 1 even after uninstalling all apps, deleting photos, etc. Unpaired and paired and now I have 11.5 gb free! Thanks!

No, according to Apple, Historic Health and Activity data is stored on your iPhone, not on your Apple Watch, so will not be lost.
UPDATE: The process of unpairing and paring my watch WORKED!! Went from 2.5gb free to 4gb free. Thanks much!!
