Please why does my payment method show “expiration date cannot be in the past

After reviewing your post, it appears that you're having a problem with the payment method you're using for your Apple ID. You keep seeing a message that the expiration date can't be in the past, and we're glad to help with this.


Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods -- With your card in hand, review the expiration date of the card. If the expiration date is correct but it expired before today's date, you'll need to request a new card.
