Why Apple TV does not allow you to purchase the whole season?They are charging per season and it comes out super expensive.

It depends on the show. Which show, and which iTunes Store country or region are we discussing here?

Some shows have a Complete Series offer, at the discretion of the distributing studio (not Apple).
