Remove associated devices in Apple Music account

In Apple Music, how can I remove associated devices (for automatic downloads and purchases) when I no longer possess those devices and they are obviously greyed out in the list ?

The devices I am talking about are:

  1. No longer in use
  2. No longer in my possession (sold, recycled, etc.)

Somehow, I have three devices that STILL appear (although greyed out) in the ''Automatic downloads and purchases'' in the Account section of the Apple Music app. Probably forgot to dis-associate them before selling them, but they are still in the list and I want to remove those old devices.
