Try the Following -

A. Go Here: If your Mac doesn't Turn on - Apple Support

B. Reset your SMC and your NVRAM:

Sometimes changes are made to the system and then settings (i.e. for Power and for Battery) become corrupted, technically. So, reset both on your Mac.

Contact Apple Immediately - you have 14 days for a Full Return/Replacement.

I. Using Send-In Service:

The only option, as of this post, would be to contact Apple, and have it sent it for service/replacement.

  1. Apple: would send you a box
  2. You: would package it and send it to Apple
  3. Apple: would fix it or replace it, if applicable
  4. You: would receive it back from Apple

---

II. Contacting Apple Support:

A. Phone Support Info:

B. Chat Session Info:

Being that phone calls are taking a moment, perform a chat session with Apple Support.

Setting Up the Chat Session:

  1. Go to: support.apple.com
  2. Scroll Down to "Tell us how we can help"
  3. Select: Get Support
  4. Proceed from there as Necessary

If it does not turn on, it should be considered DOA (dead on arrival). There is no reason for you to troubleshoot it at all and attempting to have Apple troubleshoot it is also inappropriate with a brand new out of the box machine. It should work out of the box.

If you purchased it directly from Apple, contact Apple and return it as it is DOA. Ask for a replacement or a refund and then order another one. If you purchased it elsewhere, contact them.
