This weekend I am proposing to my girlfriend. She thinks I have to stay in another city for work, and I don't want her to know I'm headed her direction. If I swap the SIM card to one of my old iPhones (6s) and leave the current phone (X) at my house in the other city connected to wifi, will it show her the location of my X (SIM card getting removed) in Find My Friends or the location of the 6s (phone I can put the SIM card in)?

I see! Then don't remove her from Find My Friends, but what about turning off your iPhone completely? Is it possibly you can go without using it for a day or two?
Find My Friends or Find My (device) isn't tied to your cellular company, it's tied to your Apple ID logged in to those devices. Why not just place your device in Airplane Mode instead? Or consider removing her from the Find My Friends app (temporarily that is)?

I'm hoping she'll check my location and see that I'm still in the other city. If I don't have a location showing or I remove her, she'll know what's up lol. Thank you!
