I can not play a particular song that i have available on my mac, and the option 'sync library' was activated on both devices. I have disconnected them and reconnected them. That seemed to not affect the outcome. How do i fix this issue?

This did not solve my issue. This in fact, made my situation worse. I can no longer receive messages or calls of any sort. I have tried signing back into the messages and facetime account but to no avail. I am going straight to apple support.
