Feeding power from iPhone 4s through OTG

I am looking for any way to use iPhone4s as power source of a mini peripheral device which consumes around 6W, but I could not do that because discharge from iPhone 4 failed(no discharge occured).

Does this mean I cannot feed power from iPhone4s to other devices? If so, is that because of power limit of flowing out from the device?

I understand that is not good way with iPhone, but I have to test it.

Currently you are unable to use devices other than the iPad Pro 3rd generation or newer to charge other devices.

Charge and connect with the USB-C port on iPad Pro
