If I cancel my Apple Music subscription, do I lose all of the music that I now have in my music library?

Do I lose all of the music that I have downloaded over the last three years through my paid monthly subscription if I cancel my Apple Music subscription?

Yes. - You will lose the music you downloaded as part of your Apple Music subscription but if there is a song you purchased from the iTunes store separate, this won't be affected.

You will not only lose the music you have downloaded but you will lose all playlists you have created, so you might want to make a note of your songs etc.
