HomePod

I plan to buy a HomePod and use it in my bedroom.

Will I be able to ask Siri to play a specific playlist I have on my iPhone?

Siri on HomePod can play from your purchase history, or playlists in your cloud library if you have Apple Music or iTunes Match. (For iTunes Match the Recognize my voice feature of HomePod currently needs to be disabled.) If you have either of those subscription services then the playlists would be the same on your phone, in your library on your computer, and in any other devices such as HomePod. Otherwise you can AirPlay content from the iPhone to HomePod.
