my iPad says "iPad is disabled connect to iTunes" but iTunes doesn't exist any longer

How do I restore the iPad with out iTunes?

If you are using a Mac with a newer OS, like Catalina, that doesn't have iTunes, you can still perform this restore using the Finder app instead.
