Brand new iPhone is very hot. Volume won’t increase

brand new IPhone 11. Less than 24 hours old. Phone is very hot. Volume won’t increase. Text size smaller than my iPhone 8 with identical settings. I hate this phone.

Thx. Yes everything up to date. Volume is at max but it sounds hollow and certainly not as loud or clear as my 8 which is being replaced because it cracked when I dropped it. The screen also goes dark and light for no apparent reason. Wasn’t charged long enough to get that hot; it came almost fully charged. My 8 is connected to the charger for extended periods of time and never gets the slightest bit warm. Plus, their attitude sucked. Cracked it not, I think I’ll return the 11 and keep my 8. Or maybe it’s time for a Samsung.

Yeah, totally up to you.. I personally would be frustrated with a new phone and bad attitudes.. But I've also been using Apple phones, watches and computers for a decade. Tried the nicest Samsung tablet on the market and my iPad was way better. I work with windows PCs for work every day. and I still prefer my Apple products. So if it were me, I'd give it another shot, but I understand if you don't!

As with any product.. there are always going to be some with issues that slip thru the cracks. If I just bought a new iPhone and within 24 hours having issues.. I would not send it in for servicing.. I'd just return it.

When you say the volume won't increase.. are you saying the button doesn't work? Or it just doesn't go loud enough for you?

Have you made sure that the iPhone iOS is up to date? current version is 13.6
