Outlook Alias Reverts Back to Hotmail , How to Fix It?

I have a hotmail\outlook.com account that has several aliases, setting the primary alias to @outlook.

However, every time that I add the email account on my iPhone in the Accounts and Passwords Section, I noticed that to always reverts back to the original @hotmail domain(the previous alias).

This issue also persist to show across all apple echo system (MacBook, iPad ... etc).

iPhone X, iOS 13

Finally after tried many solutions one of these have worked.

First Delete the Outlook account from the iOS device in the Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Outlook

1. Log into outlook.com Preferably on your Mac/Safari (Desktop Version is essential).

2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right.

3. Click on Options.

4. Click on Accounts.

5. Click on Connected Accounts.

6. Near the bottom, there is a place to set your default "From" address

7. Pick the alias you want to use for iOS mail app.

Add the account back to the iOS device. I did a reset before adding it back, but I don't that this is necessary.

It populates correctly in the mail app.

Many thanks to @JonStatenIsland as he previously addressed this issue before in another discussion here.
