I purchased a set of these headphones because of their high ratings, intending to use them for virtual meetings. When using them with my MacBook Air my speech is very garbled and hard to understand. Have tested this headset using my Samsung phone and SurfacePro and it functions very well with those products. What can be done to resolve this problem?

To start, make sure that you’ve selected the headset as your output and input in your sound settings.
You can do so by clicking > System Preferences > Sound.
If that doesn’t help, try resetting the SMC on your Mac:

You may also need to adjust your sound settings within the app you’re using for meetings.
If that doesn’t help, try unpairing and then pairing your headset again:
