Deleting other data

When my iPhone storage is full and it keeps collecting caches, data, and other materials that clog up my OTHER data. How do I prevent this or clear all of this data? I have deleted all of my old pictures and cleaned up my music, but every day I get hit with the same message iPhone storage maxed out.
