I cannot see my newer files on my files app. on my phone since I have a new iPhone

Set up iCloud on all of your devices and turn on iCloud Drive. - also in Mac ( if it is used , turn on desktops and documents ) .
Make sure that you’re signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices.

Have you plugged in the new device and leave it connected to WiFi? Do you have enough iCloud storage space?

I actually cannot see any recent files in iCloud.com or on my files.app - since a certain date no updates have been made from my desktop.

All devices connected to wifi and I definitively have enough storage space.

I have managed to now see my photos from the camera on the laptop - but on no other device.

Also the desktop from the mac book will not be saved on iCloud.

I have tried restarting each device and reconnecting and all - to no avail.

I hope somebody can assist me.
