How long should it take for the migration of files from old Mac to a new Mac? It’s been about 30 min with no changes on either screen. I am wondering if this is normal or if I should restart the process.
In my experience It took about an hour or so to do a complete transfer using Migration Assistant. Be sure you are using a USB cable to do the transfer, and NOT wi fi as data can sometimes get corrupted. Good luck and enjoy your new Mac.
