I have an Apple TV(3). I also have an EERO mesh network, which recently upgraded its security protocol to WPA3. The Apple TV cannot access the WiFi. If the EERO protocol is changed to WPA2, the Apple TV has no issues finding the network. Question: will Apple ever update the firmware, so an Apple TV(3) can function under a WPA3 protocol?

Apple TV (3rd generation) is a nearly decade old device. Apple has not announced any plans to update this legacy Apple TV model with this feature. You are welcome to purchase an Apple TV HD (4th generation) or Apple TV 4K.
