Why can’t I connect to iTunes Store to cancel my Apple Music subscription?

I want to cancel my free trial of Apple Music before I get charged and it won’t let me. A message comes up that says there is a problem with the iTunes Store. The iTunes Store doesn’t appear in my Apple Music either. Is there a problem with iTunes and Apple Music? How can I cancel my subscription?

See View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support. Malware or VPN software can disrupt connections to the iTunes Store. If you're not able to access your subscriptions through Music contact Apple Support.
