My 27" iMac says I need to sign into my apple id account, but when I do, it says I am already signed in. I can't use calendar, photo stream, notes, etc. until I get signed in. How do I do that when it thinks I am already signed in.

If you go to System Preferences/Apple ID/iCloud, are you signed in there? If so, have you tried signing out, restarting the computer, and then signing back in?
