Where is the upgrade for Catalina from El Capitan?

I am trying to upgrade from El Capitan to Catalina on my 2015 MacBook Air. I cannot locate the upgrade through the Software Updates. What am I missing?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download Catalina. It's a full-version upgrade and won't appear in the updates list.
