trying to update my imac 7.1 el captain but its not working
how do i update my i mac. been trying to download my of the new soft wares but only info i get is that my os cant support the new os

macOS 10.11 El Capitan is an old OS that is no longer supported so it may be difficult finding apps for it. Unfortunately macOS 10.11 is the highest version of macOS supported on this iMac. If the apps you want to download require a newer version of macOS, then you will need to purchase a newer computer.
