hi im wanting to transfer all my data, apps contacts etc from my iphone 6s to an XR, the pop up window is not appearing on my new phone to enable this
any suggestions (my 6s is running 10s 13.6 and i presume the xr is new enough?

First make sure iPhone XR is running at least iOS 13.6 and not earlier version.
If not, first update you iPhone XR to iOS 13,6.

is the XR brand new ,i mean it should not be activated , and it should be reset/formatted
try to reset completely your new phone & the transfer message should appear, please follow below link, but i still prefer itunes it will be much faster
