Numbers, document viewing order

I use numbers a lot as I create invoices with it. Lately, when I am searching for a file in Numbers, I open finder and the files are out of numerical sequence and I can not find a reason why. Before, I used to always have the files in correct numerical order and so locating one in that view was easy. I use column view mostly but now I have to switch to list view and click the name bit for the files to fall into correct sequence.

Any suggestions on what may correct this so the files re always in a proper numerical order?
