Digital crown is not working

I have an apple watch 5, last week it started to behave weirdly when it started to turn on the emergency calls repeatedly. It didnt stop until i turned off. It happened again when i noticed that it was happing during my bath!

yesterday i went for a swim. Just after few Minutes under Water it started to behave weirdly until it turned off. Couldnt turn it on until i put it to charge. When it turned on, I noticed tht the activity crown is not working (it turns smoothly) i tried to restart it, i checked the latest updates with no result!

Try un-pairing your watch with your iPhone and the re-pairing it:

Unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone - Apple Support

Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support

A backup is made automatically as part of the un-pairing process.

If that still does not resolve the problem, then you may have a hardware issue, as there is no function that would "lock" the Digital Crown. You can take it in for service or arrange to send it in at http://getsupport.apple.com.
