When I try to update the Facebook App, I enter my password (which is correct as I’ve signed out and in to my App Store), and it gives me this ‘Verification Failed’ error. I’ve restarted my phone, I’ve updated my IOS, and signed in and out of App Store. Still have the same issue. Please help!

Thanks! Think you were right. A previous owner downloaded the app on a different ID. All I did was delete the app and reinstall the updated version, and problem solved.

Have you got multiple Apple ID's?
If you downloaded an app on one Apple ID, and you try to update it using another it is not possible. You should try to uninstall the app and reinstall it on your Apple ID, if you no longer have access to the last one.
