Request an Extension for Apple Warranty

I bought a Mac book air laptop (Serial No FV***YWJ) from one of the best dealers in Sri Lanka named Thunder Mac (Address and registration No if any) on 15th January 2020, with a 01 year warranty period. 




On 25th March 2020, when I started working with my Mac book for the first time , unfortunately after about 10 to 15 minutes it crashed without any known reason. I tried several times to switch it on but couldn't. Then I contacted the dealer and he wanted me to hand it over to them. Due the Lock down going on in  the country I was unable to hand it  over  till 13-05-2020. 




When I  received it back after 2 months , I was told that this had  happened due to a hardware failure. However, 6 months of the Warranty period had  already been over by this time without any usage of the Mac book . So , I was wondering if you sir/madam would be kind enough to extend the warranty period for another six months hence covering the actual warranty period that I was supposed to have before the failure.
