apple watch doesn't hold a charge

The watch used to hold a charge for well over 24 hours -- ~30-36 hours, I'd reckon.

Last couple of days, a full charge lasts ~12-18 hours.

Tried rebooting a couple of times, no avail.

What else can I do?

FWIW, I'm running the latest version of WatchOS.

Thanks.

Ah, that makes sense - I'm sorry for that!

I'm guessing you have a problem with one of your apps on the Watch using excessive battery or the battery is failing its-self. Try a force restart by pressing and holding both buttons until the Apple logo appears.

If not, you'll need to Contact Apple Support to arrange service.

That's based on far more than I use the watch:

So 18 hours, given my usage, is very, very low. Also, as I noted, I suddenly went from ~30-36 to ~18-24, maybe even ~12-18 without any change in use..

Really, the issue is less how long a charge lasts on average to a sudden, huge drop.
