Can I put SIM card from iPad model 1475 into new iPad model 2153?



message says I need a PUK NUMBER

no SIM card installed on model 2153

If your SIM card is locked, you will need to obtain the PUK key from your Cellular provider. Beware, if you enter the incorrect PUK key three times, the SIM card will be permanently disabled and will require replacement.


Modern iPads (and iPhone) use a nanoSIM. Provided that the physical SIM card is a nanoSIM (most carrier SIMs are now “universal” - you simply press-out the correct size from the SIM card-carrier), the SIM will fit in your iPad SIM tray.
