How to open at new Numbers - old version of Numbers?
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
macOS 10.15 (Catalina) supports ONLY 64 bit applications.
For Numbers (and Pages), this means nothing older than Numbers 10 or Pages 10.
This Apple Document: 32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and later - Apple Support, published in mid-November, 2019 has details on tracking down your 32 bitt applications.
A free application from St Clair Software, GO64, scans your drives, reports all 32 bit applications, and offers information that will help you find the upgrade path for those that need upgrading.
As for actually opening older 32 bit applications, you'll need to use an older computer running a compatible, older version of the operating system.
Regards,
Barry
