I don’t know if it is okay to leave my iPad charging overnight. I heard these damage the battery, and I’ve seen lots of posts about this same question. I have an iPad 6ht gen, and I just want to know if it’s ok to do this with this specific model.

Been charging my iPads overnight with no issues for 10 years.
When iOS devices get fully charged a circuit in the Apple power/charge adapter and/or the iOS devices automatically stops charging the device.
Charging an iOS device overnight, as long as there are no hardware issues with the battery or power/charging adapter, is fine and does not hurt the iOS device or its internal battery.
Your iPad will be fine.

I have always charged my iPads and iPhones all night, every night, in the 10 years that I have owned them. One of the advantages to charging overnight is that you can automatically backup to iCloud while the device is plugged in to charge, connected to WiFi and the screen is locked.
Charging your iPad for extended periods, whilst connected to its Power Adapter, will do your iPad no harm to your iPad.
