Lost iPhone - I currently got a new phone because I lost my other one. I’m trying to locate y other one and it says it’s offline why.

We don’t know.
Perhaps:
- It’s powered down.
- It hasn’t been used in a while. (This is highly likely.)
- It is in Airplane mode.
- It’s malfunctioning.
