No Service No Data

Hi, I have an iPhone 7 and in the top left hand corner it constantly reads "No Service" the issue has also blocked all use of data until a software update has been installed but the paradox is that I can't update the device without that data. I've been trying to figure this out and no easy fixes seem to do anything. Please help!
